Back on Track

Still on Phase 3, but back on track, yes Halloween and Parties did throw me off.
But I am back down, still up 2 lbs from LIDW, but seem to be stabilizing there.
Not too shabby.
I feel FANTASTIC. eating nuts and dried fruits without a gain.
sticking to the plan. Feeling Sexy!
At 50! who knew!

THINKING about doing a short round at Thanksgiving, but I might just stick to P3 till Christmas. Then do a final round to get to goal...(only 15 lbs away!!!) After the new year. and really stick it in 2015.

and do my absolute best to stay at Goal and really pay attention all year!
I have a PLAN, so I am halfway there!

When you do what you KNOW you shouldn't

so over the past week I have eaten rice, sugar, and probably some other things I shouldn't on P3
I KNOW I KNOW!!! I stabalized so well last round.
Stuck right within 1 lb up or down for 28 days. I did great.
Halloween is HARD for me. too many pumpkin things. too many candies I avoid all year that are right there!!  EVERYWHERE! in the office, at home, at friends houses.
My downfall...Peanut butter cups and almond joy! OMG.

So yeah I am up 6 lbs. I know I can get it back down.
I just have to stick with it. More water.
I am just mad at myself for letting cravings control me.
Mad that I don't listen to my inner voice when I hear it saying...no no no.
You know that is now what you need.
I cram that voice down and say shhhhhh I WANT THIS.
Want and need are so different. and we need to realize that WANT is not always best for us.

so I am back listening to my little voice. I wish she would learn to speak UP!!!

P3, October is hard for me to maintain.

Sorry I have not posted in a while!
October is a hard month for me. Halloween is my FAVORITE Holiday.
We do alot this month, it is also my Son's Birthday the day BEFORE Halloween.
We always have fun with it.

And PUMPKIN is back in October. I have done well to stay away from the baked goods.
And MOSTLY the sugar. however I did give in and have a Reese's PB cup, and an almond joy!

I have had my pumpkin Lattes. a few probably had a bit of sugar in the syrup they use.
BUT PUMPKIN LATTE!!!! :)

Went to a few Costume parties and had alcohol. (yes more sugar)
so I am up about 4 lbs. I will get that back off, so I am not too worried.

I have an event tonight I baked sugar free, flour free chocolate cupcakes for.
I made these once and they were WAY too bitter. the main ingredient was 80% cacao powder. and with the stevia it was just too bitter.
So I am trying it again, the cupcakes use ground up black beans and cocoa - no flour.
I am going to make the frosting with coco powder instead of cacao.  to cut the bitterness, I will post recipe and photos, IF they come out good. I don't post recipes that I find as failures.

My costume this year, Harley Quinn from the Batman comic series.

Here is the pattern for the afghan I am hoping to finish by Christmas!! it will keep me busy that is for sure!!!
Not sure what this pattern is called, but I like it. it is very masculine.

Project that keeps me from EATING.

This is the crochet project that keeps me from raiding the kitchen for junk when I'm bored!!
Finished Baby Blanket for my great neice Willow, who will be born in January.
:)

Cheated! Darn Foot ball games!

Ok so I am doing really well, down to 186. but I went and ate some cheese, and smoked turkey.
Not ALOT but MAN this protocol is unforgiving!!!
I am up .6 - But I feel FANTASTIC Anyway!

Took some photos of me in a skirt I couldn't fit in this summer.
I wore this to work with a nice green blazer. I feel very IRISH today. LOL
My goal is 170 but I may quit at 175. which is 11 lbs from where I am at. then stabalize.
And if I can keep to 175 thru the holidays, I might do one more round and get to final goal.
I still think my tummy is too poochy below my belly button and my legs and upper arms could use some more weight loss, but I think if I start muscle training (sit ups, arm lifts) thru the holidays and see how that works out. Maybe won't need another round. :)

NON Scale Victory and "Exercise??"

Today, I pulled out these nice boots my husband had bought for me from New York.
He had bought them about a year and a half ago. but my calves were too fat to put them on.
I was so sad about it. they were my size and he was doing something nice, but my calves were just not cooperating.  I tried to wear them a few times but they HURT.

So today, since it's fall, and drizzly out. I thought I would try them on.
They fit perfectly. My FAT little calves have become not so FAT!
yay!!

The TIGHTS are another story!!!  If you are a woman, you will be able to relate. If you're a man, you will have NO IDEA what we go thru with these things!!

I bought COMPRESSION TIGHTS
My Doctor said it may help with some nerve pain I have in my left leg and ankle.
I have NO CLUE how older folks get these things on!  I would think they would need help from a spouse or a Nurse.
I started at the toe, but they were so skinny at the ankle I was crunching myself in half trying to get them up. then over the calves, stretching and lifting my leg. I was really working up a sweat just to get these things up. Once over my knees it wasn't so bad, I had to do some squats to get them up to my waist.  but DAMN those things really do COMPRESS your legs!!!

So inadvertently, I did crunches, leg lifts and squats!!!   I am counting it as exercise!!

the smallest of deviations....shows

Last night I made steak, it was awesome. I had marinated it in cracked pepper, a touch of stevia, ginger and liquid aminos.
Made it with steamed swiss chard.
It was so good, when I was putting it "away", I ate two small peices more.
So probably about 5.5 oz instead of my 3.5
yep no loss today.
No gain either, but you have to stick to protocol for this to work.

And I KNOW that.
:(

Down .6 lb today

Cabbage soup with a bit of cayanne pepper in it worked wonderfully.
Down to 191 this morning.
2 more pounds and I will be in the 180's!!
I realized today, I haven't been in the 180's since I got married...and BC
(before Kids)  my oldest turns 26 next month.
Whoe!

Feeling accomplished today.
Drinking that WATER!!!!

Curried chicken and cabbage soup! P2

So I forgot to take out something to cook for dinner...
I HATE when I do that!
You know that saying, if you fail to plan, you plan to fail.
That is how I feel when I do that!!

Well not to be daunted and still stick to plan. I microwave defrosted chicken breasts for a little bit.
They were still pretty frozen, but thawed enough to cut with a good knife.
I shredded some green cabbage and put them in a large stock pot. For flavor I chopped up about 2 Tbsp of red onion. I sautéed in just a tiny bit of chicken broth to start. then I added the frozen chicken and 1/4 cup of curry, 1/2 tsp celery seed, a dash of parley flakes, a dash of Adobo seasoning, and some hot pepper flakes. I sautéed stiring continually for a few min.
I then added 2 to 3 C of fat free chicken broth.
Brought to a boil, then covered and reduced heat. cooked for about 20 min.

Sooooooo yummy!!!
(the hard part was picking out the chicken to weigh out 3 oz!)
I suppose I could have taken the cooked chicken out before adding the Cabbage then made it easier to weigh.
but I did it, then added the broth and cabbage.

Round 2 in 2014 - down 11.4 lbs - 50 lbs total from the start of this journey!

I am doing really well this round,
Except for a short stall.
I am down to 191.6!
BMI says I am overweight and JUST SHY of obese.

I feel fantastic, I don't look OBESE. I took this photo yesterday
Not to bad for 50!  I say BMI can kiss my ass!

I wore this to work yesterday with a black blazer and felt like 100 bucks.
21 more pounds till I reach my goal weight! yay!

Stalled

Yep, so I have stalled for 2 days, and it could be for a lot of reasons.
The Shiritaki Noodles, or the ground beef.
OR the next night I made fish soup and it was hard to calculate how much I was eating.
I may have had more than I should have.
it was made with dum dum dum.....MIXED VEGETABLES!
Yep I used diced tomatoes, celery, and onions together for the soup.
then added tilapia to the soup.  I put in some hot peppers too.
OMG it was good.
but still at the same weight as Thursday.

Hopefully eating clean today and lots of water will move things along.

Some observations today

So one of my observations this round is that the slightest change in dose can really make a difference.
I take a 125 IU dose each day.
I missed my injection on Sunday. not intentionally, last round I skipped Sundays so I could do a longer round and not build up an immunity.
I wasn't going to do that this round. but I thought oh well...
So Monday morning I took 150 IU ...you know to sort of make up for it.
OMG!!! I was starving all day!  and had a bit of a headache.
Lesson learned, MORE is not BETTER!

So Tuesday I went back to 125 IU does in 12.5 cc on the needle.
Perfect. Not hungry, had a pritty good day.

Observation #2.
Shiritaki noodles ...like regular pasta is my weakness I eat a bit more than I should.
That being said, I had no loss this morning after eating them last night.
The ground beef could be a factor as well, and this is why I am glad I JOURNAL.
I will watch my losses. maybe try ground beef again by itself, see if I have no loss again.
It could be that I just ate more than I should have.
Also, I will be watching to see if this is a STALL. Will I lose tomorrow??  TUNE IN TOMORROW!!! LOL.

Day 7 VLCD

down another lb today that is a total of 10.6 lbs
This round has started off with a bang, I think it is me drinking more water, and NO artificial sweeteners.

Today's plan:
Breakfast: coffee and apple
Lunch: romaine lettuce and 3.5 oz grilled chicken. ACV dressing
Dinner: 90/10 % lean ground beef, onions, spinach and PERHAPS some shirtaki noodles.
We will see how they affect my losses.
Dessert: strawberry "ice cream*"
(* no cream involved see recipe section.)

Edit: decided to add a can of diced tomatoes in tomato sauce, and skip the strawberries.
using the tomato as my "fruit" for dinner.
Here is my lean ground beef, tomato, 1/3 an onion for taste, spinach and shiritaki noodle concoction. it was filling and sooooooo yummy, measured out about 3.5 oz of the meat then added the noodles and sauce separately.
Hubby put cheese over his, but he liked it too.

**EDIT**  Do not eat these in P2!   I will make this again because it tasted great, but not in P2
I stalled for 3 days, and then slow losses. (sad because it was yummy and now I can't have it again till p3 or P4)

Tuesday, September 16, 2014

Round 2 P2 day 6

Today is the first day with no loss. but I am down 9.6 from first day of VLCD. so no worries.
It could be the smoked turkey from Sunday. or I ate 2 almonds yesterday and didn't remove the skin from my chicken breast. who knows. just sticking perfectly on Plan, I know I will start losing again.

LOVE it!

Today's plan:
Breakfast: coffee, 1 sm apple
Lunch: grilled chicken, mixed green salad
Dinner: scallops sauteed in aminos, and bok choy.
Strawberries and water throughout the day.

Monday, September 15, 2014

Day 5 down 9.4

Awesome loss for day 5, I know it will level off.
But I am excited. at 193.6, this is the lowest I have been in years. I am totally confident I can get to my goal of 175 - 170 by the end of this round.

Yesterday was a challenge I didn't cook and was out and about, I did salad w/ chicken and an apple for lunch, Dinner we were not home. there was a ton of African food. OMG I wanted it.
But I stuck to the smoked turkey stew which had no oil and and had a fresh tomato and hot pepper base.  it was spicy and very good.
I drank a ton of water and had strawberries when I got home.
Hopefully the salt in the smoked turkey doesn't catch up with me later.

Day 3 VLCD - down 8 lbs

I know this LARGE loss is from me starting loading with TOM on board.
I was up 3 lbs from TOM and gained 4.5 loading. I am down 8 lbs from first day on VLCD.
at 195.4 today. YES!!!

As usual on the 2nd day on HCG and VLCD I got the Detox flu, tired and headachy.
But the upside is that I know I will feel better in a few days. taking a vitamin today and pushing the water.

Day 1 VLCD! and TOM has left the building!!!

Woot!!! Happy on so many levels.
However this HEADACHE is dimming my enthusiasm.
I am up 6 lbs from LIDW!!! SIX!  I am blaming TOM but he left yesterday, hoping it will drop quickly.  Day one starting at 203 after loading.

Today's plan of attack.
Breakfast: Coffee and Apple
Lunch: Salad w/ grilled chicken
Dinner: Fish and sauted cabbage and onions.
Snack: Strawberries

Tonight's dinner:
Steamed Talapia with herbs and spices over red and green cabbage sautéed in fat free chicken broth.
I use this for the spices:

ROUND 2!!!

So yesterday I basically Loaded with out taking HCG...and I have TOM to blame for my mood and my ravenous appetite.
TODAY I mixed and took my first injection.
SO we are off to the races again!!!
Yay.

However I am depressed and NOT hungry at all today. I am pushing it and eating more than I really would, hopefully I load well and P2 is a breeze.
I have my FB peeps to help me along. They are fantastic. I wish it was a local group I would love love love to have a once a month face to face with these awesome men and women and give them all a hug!!!

Pumpkin Muffins!

I just realized I never posted photos of my pumpkin muffins in my blog. I have the recipe in the recipe tab. but here is the photos
before baking.

Recipe on recipe page under pumpkin muffins

IT Works!!!

So listening to my body finally works for me.
I was up 1 lb over LIDW, so I upped my water, had a salad with chicken on it for dinner with full fat blue cheese dressing.
I still ate a small bag of almonds as a snack. had lentil soup for lunch and a Lara Bar.
(which is dates, flax-seed, pecans and cashews)
Nothing "diet" but not as much as I usually eat. I ate when I was hungry and cut back a bit for dinner.
I also had about 5 mini Pumpkin cookies I made the other night and show in another post with some almond milk before bed.

I am down to 196.6. which is my last injection day weight.
Stabilizing has been a breeze this round.
I think it is because I have really started to listen to my hunger signs, I don't eat 2 plates just because it tastes good and I am stuffed.  I have a tendency to overeat if I like the flavor of something.
or the consistency....like pudding or Tiramisu.

It only took 50 years to figure that out. geesh!  But I am glad I have, and hopefully can really stick it this time. get to goal of 170 lbs and STAY THERE.
I am a work in progress!!

My new favorite Seasoning

Last night I baked fish. I have been using this McCormick spice for a while on chicken last night I put it on my fish and on the cauliflower I was steaming. it was AWESOME.

Cauliflower Crust Pizza

Here are the photos of my attempt at Cauliflower crust pizza.
The first pohto is my chicken sausage and veggie pizza. The 2nd photo, my husband and son attacked it before I got a photo. it had BBQ chicken and mushrooms on it.
The crust didn't crisp up as much as I would have liked.
We had to eat it with a fork, but it was MEGA TASTY!!!

Pumpkin cookies! P3

Pumpkin cookies with Icing.

I will put recipe on my recipe page.

but tonight Blog is being a bitch and won't let me type it.

STABLE MABLE

sticking totally on P3 plan, eating more than I thought I could and sticking it at 196.
Very happy about this.

My FB group is going to start a 2nd round on Sept 8. It will be officially 21 days on P3 on the 7th so I am going to join them on a new Round. I really want to get to my goal of 175.
I am going to say I can definitely lose 25 - 30 lbs in a 45 day round.

I was getting good at this P3 thing. now I am nervous about starting again. LOL

Sunday, August 31, 2014

I am amazed at p3 is going so well.

My first week on P3 I fluctuated up and down. but once I got into the hang of eating full fat food.
not worrying about weighing and measuring and just eating till I felt satisfied, I got into my GROOVE. I have been between 195 and 196.8 all week this week.

Yesterday, I ate stuff that really wasn't what I would consider "ON PLAN"
I ate a crab Rangoon. and 2 buffalo chicken tenders with celery and blue cheese.
Then ate P3 crackers and cheese.
I even went completely off plan and had a Activia Greek yogurt, that has sugar in it.

and This morning....196.8.

Granted I drank about 5 bottles of water yesterday. I had salad for dinner with cheese and tuna on it, due to the crap lunch I ate.
and still within 2 lbs of LIDW.

I am almost scared to go back to P2. I can't possibly do as well....right?
Well no! I am not going to let myself think this way.
I have help, some great people on a Facebook page that talk straight, cut you  slack when you mess up, buck you up, and cheer you on!!

And since I really enjoyed that yogurt the other day, but really want to stick to plan, I made my own yogurt from skim milk (less lactose) and with NO sugar.
It came out great. I added some coconut milk to one small batch. I added vanilla and some chia seeds to another batch. and kept the left over whey off the greek yogurt batch I made. I am using it to add to pea protein shakes to up the protein even more.

I am feeling really accomplished right now!!

Chineese food and CAKE....P3 style!

Made my stir fried "Rice" tonight.  I really wanted Chinese food. So I made my own. I shredded cabbage and onion in a separate pan and added cooked shrimp and some chicken sausage.
It was like having my own take out shrimp chow mein with stir fried rice.
I weighed in at my LIDW this morning.
this afternoon I had salad topped with left over fish from dinner last night
and ended the day by making chocolate coffee cup cake.
Yes it isn't a nice chocolate chip cookie, but it wasn't bad. I topped it with some Walden Farms caramel. it was like a cheat, but not. LOL

Rice! "sort of"

So last night I made Chicken with sweet potato, butternut squash, sliced onion, and peppers.
sliced the chicken into strips and tossed with 3 garlic cloves chopped finely, a touch of coconut oil, oregano, parsley and chili pepper flakes.
Baked for 1 hour.
OMG so good, this would be P2 friendly if you left out the sweet potato and squash.
For P3 I make cauliflower rice. which is shown in the photo topped with this recipe.
I steamed a cauliflower, then chopped up finely, tossed with a bit of butter and seasoned with salt and pepper.
My husband loved it.

I haven't done another STEAK day to regulate my weight as I really felt if I went back to some salads for lunch, and cut back on the NUTS and hummus, I would come back down.
And I was right. I don't think on P3 we should panic and do a steak day on the day we are over 2 lbs up from Last Injection Day Weight (LIDW)
if however you go a few days and are still UP more than 2 lbs, then yes a steak day will bring you back down a few lbs.

Reviews of new stuff! - LaraBar - Go Raw and BLK

LaraBar, for P3.  There is no wheat or sugars added
Ingredients are unsweetened coconut, Almonds, cashews and extra virgin coconut oil  for the Coconut cream bar.

The Lemon Bar is Dates, Cashews, almonds, lemon juice concentrate.
They are tastey, and everything in them is allowed on P3.
I have eaten them for breakfast with no gain.
There is only one that had something I think oats...that was not allowed on P3, so I didn't buy that one.

This is a new water I found in my local Price Chopper, it was tastey and is made with stevia!  no chemicals or anything we can't have. Woot!

Go Raw - this company makes alot of stuff I have found in my local Price Chopper.  They make these Great pumpkin seed chips, but they have Agave Nectar in them, so I guess those can wait for P4.   However, these 2 samples had only ingredients allowed in P3!
They don't taste like a candy bar. but they do taste good!  All organic! Try them in P3 for yourself.  nice to have a quick grab and go snack.

Mock Beef-a-roni

This is my recipe for "Beef"-a-Roni.
You could actually make this with ground beef, or without meat at all.
I used ground chicken

  • 1 Tbs coconut oil or grape-seed oil
  • 1 lb ground chicken
  • 1 large eggplant
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 large red onion, chopped
  • 1 large can diced tomato
  • 1 - 8 oz can tomato sauce
  • 1 red bell pepper, diced
  • sliced mushrooms (optional)
  • oregano, parsley, garlic powder, pepper to your taste
  • red chili flakes and a few dashes of curry powder (optional)
Brown your chicken, onion, garlic and pepper in oil until cooked thru.
Add your mushrooms, spices and tomatoes, stir well. Add your tomato sauce and bring to a boil.
Reduce heat and cook for about 15 to 30 min. The longer it cooks the better the spices come thru.
Serve over spaghetti squash, topped with mozzarella cheese.

Chia Seeds

I read that Chia seeds are a great food.  That they keep you full, keep you "regular" because they are high in fiber. Can lower your blood pressure and regulate your blood sugars.  they have 3 times the antioxidants than blueberries.  High in Omega-3 fatty acids. packed with calcium, contain the mineral boron that helps the body absorb calcium and have 3 times the amount of iron than spinach.
Basically these little things should have a big RED S on their little tiny shells!!!
So I bought some from Amazon (be sure you buy organic Chia seeds, and do not buy from China according to many web sites)
I bought TruVibe 100% organic Raw chia seeds.

Chia seed pudding.
I had this with strawberries in it for breakfast. It was really tasty, had a tiny bit of crunch to it...but that might have been the strawberry seeds.

I mixed 1 Cup Almond Milk, with 1/4 Cup chia seeds 1/2 tsp vanilla, and 2 drops of stevia.
I let sit for 5 min. and stirred well.  let sit for another 5 min and stir again.
Then refrigerated overnight.  it was a nice pudding consistency.
I will be making some more when I get home.

You can also mix 1 Tbsp of chia seeds in 3 Tbsp of water and use in recipes in place of an egg.
Or add to smoothies to thicken them. There seems to be a ton of uses for them, and they are good for you and great as an appetite suppressant.  Be sure to drink plenty of water when you are eating them as they absorb allot of water.

New recipes - Sunflower crackers and "townhouse crackers" P3 freindly

So I decided that I wanted to make "crackers" for a party I will be attending that I will be able to eat the dip...because on Phase 3 I can have sour cream, cream cheese and the other ingredients my neice said she is putting in the dips.   but I can't eat the crackers...
Both of these recipes are about 90 calories for 5 - 6 crackers.
So here is my 2 recipes:
Sunflower Seed crackers

  • 1 cup Sunflower seeds (shelled, salted)
  • 1/2 cup shredded parmesan cheese
  • 1/4 cup water
In a food processor pulse dry ingredients until fine.
Add water 2 Tbsp at a time until a soft dough is formed and balls together
dump out onto parchment paper or aluminum foil
top dough with wax paper to keep it from sticking to the rolling pin
Roll out to 1/4 inch thick.   push edges back in toward dough so they are not thinner than the rest of the dough or they will burn.   be sure it is an even thickness from middle to edge.  remove wax paper and discard.
Score dough with pizza cutter or butter knife, into 50 - 60 squares
Bake at 325 for 20 -25 min until golden brown. Turn off oven, leave door closed and leave crackers in oven for 15 more minutes to crisp up.
Remove from oven and break apart at score marks.
eat plain or with your favorite dip.

Recipe for "Townhouse Crackers":
  • 3/4 C almond flour
  • 2 tsp granular splenda or equivalent of stevia
  • 1 egg white
  • 2 Tbsp butter or coconut oil
  • 1/4 tsp salt (optional)
Mix all of the ingredients well in a small bowl. Put the dough on a well greased sheet of heavy duty foil. Cover the dough with a piece of wax paper that's been sprayed with nonstick spray. roll out the dough to about 1/8 inch thickness. Be sure to roll out evenly or the edges will burn before the middle is baked.  You can lift up the wax paper and reshape the dough to as close to a rectangle as possible, replace wax paper and  roll out evenly.  Peel off the wax paper and discard. score dough with pizza cutter or wavy edged ravioli cutter.  lift aluminum foil and place on a cookie sheet and bake at 325 degrees for 10 - 15 minutes.   check after 8 min. and if the edges are getting too brown, gently break those off  at the score marks and remove from oven.  continue to bake the rest of the crackers until golden brown.

allow to cool and break apart at score marks. Makes about 48 crackers.
Can be frozen.
(do not top with salt after dough is rolled or they will be too salty)

Phase 3 Here I come!

This morning I weighed in at 194.6.   that is 31.2 down.
I was so confused at what I would eat this morning. I am so stuck on an apple and coffee for breakfast.
so I chose an omlet with mushroom, onion and bacon! it was AWESOME now I am too full. LOL
My last injection day weight to stay within + or - 2 is going to be 195.5

I dropped to 194.6 due to running around like a crazy woman the last 2 days after my LID.
I helped plan and set up a wedding reception and it was a ton of work, I didn't even eat dinner on Saturday.

So tonight I am going to make Mock Beef-a-roni
with ground chicken and eggplant. I will start posting my P3 meals and weights, keeping my fingers crossed that stabilization will be as uncomplicated as P2 this time.

Our Bodies are WEIRD and Fickle!!

So after 3 days of eating completely clean, and on plan. with absolutely no Artificial sweeteners, not even stevia. I was still at 198 lbs.
Last night I got my order from Amazon for TruVibe Chia seeds and TruVibe organic Cacao Powder.
So I really wanted to make some chocolate delight with the Cacao Powder. (I know I have to wait for P3 for the chia seeds)
So made an awesome spinach omelet with just a tiny bit of chopped cherry tomato.
Then had strawberries with my CD over them.  It was so much better with the Cacao Powder!!!

This morning I am down 1.4 lbs.   Woot Woot.
AND TOM arrived this morning too. I am thinking if it weren't for TOM I would have been down 3#.

Tomorrow is my Last Injection day. I am going to eat POP for the next 3 days, then I will be in Phase 3!!!
Looking forward to avacados and broccoli!\

Monday, August 11, 2014

No Sugars, no Artificial sweeteners of any KIND!

I took the challenge from my
Facebook HCG support group.
No sweetness!! No Sugars, No artificial sweeteners not even Stevia.
So here is my Skinny Me water for today.
cucumbers, lemons and mint, refridgerate overnight.

Yummy and refreshing. Who needs sweet drinks this is awesome.

made Crab "cakes"

They were more like crab patties that fell apart.
I think I could have used more egg whites and in P3 will add some cheese,
but they were tastey.

Helloooooo ONEderland!!!

woot woot! I am down 2.2 lbs this morning. FINALLY under 200 lbs.
Today 198.0

Got my Walden Farms order yesterday!!
I will review some of them later.
Here is a review of what I did try:
Onion dip on some celery, it was very good. it tasted just like Onion dip.
Also had Peanut Butter spread on some celery...ok this is just meh!
it is a gel consistency not thick like peanut butter.
But since it is mostly plant derivative and not really made from peanuts I guess that is to be expected. It did however taste just like peanut butter, the consistency just throws you off.
In P4 I think it would great on bread or crackers for a 0 calorie alternative to peanut butter.

I also took some of the chocolate dip with me out to the movies last night and ate it with apple slices as an alternative to get junk at the concession counter.
I also took 2 bottles of water and some lemon with me.

I am going to wait to try the alfredo sauce till P3 and have it with Shirtaki noodles.
did not try the barbeque sauce yet either.

Walden Farms order arrived today

The first photo shows the Walden Farms Blue cheese dressing.
Ok this I really liked. it is thinner in consistency than regular blue cheese dressing but tasted great.
I made a nice salad with lobster bits on it, and put about 2 T of dressing over all.

It was yummy
