physician heal thyself

Yeah  Yeah I tell people who ask about the protocol of weight loss that WATER is the key...drink lots of it
This morning I weighed in...and little to no loss.

I looked at my tracker...I drank an extra cup of coffee yesterday and almost NO water. 1 bottle...that's it.
SO I need to take my own advice and drink drink drink.

I find I actually get thirsty in the night...I used to go days without water when I was younger. soda, tea coffee yes..but water, I would turn my nose up at it.
Which is also why I was overweight.

So today I take my own advice. and drink at least eight 8oz glasess of water.
It helps that I have a 32 oz cup with a cover and straw at my desk. :)

so I am off..to get more water...(and go to the bathroom AGAIN)

Today's plan:
Brkfst: apple, blk coffee
Lunch: cabbage & chicken breast saute.
Dinner: broiled steak and asparagus, sugar free jello & apple chunks.

Day 3 VLCD

Doing well, down 2 lbs this AM.   I am never sure what I should say I lost...the full amount from first day of VLCD or the weight from BEFORE load days.
I am currently at 210.0  started at 213.8.  Weight after Load days was 217.0
yes I gained 3.2 lbs loading. What a wake up call that is.  I always feel like crap loading too.

Not sure if I need to take a larger dose, I am a little hungry yesterday and today.
I might up it tomorrow and see how I feel the next day. I know it takes a few days to enter your system fully.

But getting back down makes me feel fantastic. I can deal with a little hunger.  No headache though. So YAY!

I am a bit stressed this week, which could also contribute to the hunger issue. (yes I am a carboholic and a stress eater) not a good combination and one of the reasons I gain weight easily...there is ALWAYS STRESS!! LOL

Today's lunch, egg whites are stuffed with cheery tomatoes. :)
Dinner will be Steamed Talapia with asparagus and lemon juice.  sugar free jello w/strawberries.

On my way, sticking to plan.

I am going to try to make a concious effort to blog everyday here or on my Sparkpeople page. I think it will force me to look at what I am eating once I am out of this phase of the diet.

Doing well, Cooking for the Family, then taking out my portion, and not eating the carbs and fats. But I refuse to cook seperate meals for myself.

I decided to crochet yesterday instead of watching football with the guys, too many temptations out there!! Cheese and crackers, salsa and chips, potato chips and sour cream onion dip. I LOVE CHIPS AND DIP!!
But I was not feeling very strong yesterday. so I sequestered myself away and did some projects I needed to finish.

Aren't they cute, crochet Christmas balls, I stuffed with fiberfill.
Going to make a bunch fo them.

As for the diet: doing really well:
Oct. 18 – 214.8 – Load day 1
Oct. 19 – 216.8 - Load day #2
Oct. 20 – 217.8 - First day of restricted diet.
Oct 21 – 213.8
Oct 22 – 212.0

As my nutritionist likes to say...none of the white DEATH...yes, she's a bit dramatic.
No Sugar, no flour, no rice, no potatoes, no milk products.
No oils, limited fats (for the first 6 weeks)
No high sugar fruits. (I can have apples, strawberries, grapefruit and orange)
Proteins and low carb veggies (no winter squash, corn, peas or carrots)

I WILL REACH GOAL!!!
